"Populist nationalists" may routinely refer to the Lefties as "stupid." Which is not nice. But Lefties openly and repeatedly call anyone deviating one iota from their dogma(s) as evil (= racist, XYZ-phobe, Fascist haters, etc etc)
Since I grew up in a Stalinist - post-Stalinist atmosphere, raised by a Socialist-Communist family, I know that Lefties are not all "evil," and in fact enjoy discussing Zhdanov, Lukács and Gramsci with them. As far as Iám concerned, they can even have their little enclaves, such as Madison WI, Berkeley CA or even Cambridge MA, just so they do not have total control over every US citien's lives.
