This article is a great review of the issues that I think are most vital atm, namely “it’s the decentralization(not the economy) stupid!” I am a dyed in the wool center lefty but the last few years are really making me grateful for right of center libertarians who just GET IT. "And they were right. More than a million deaths later, we still have not achieved this supposed herd immunity.)"

Lockdown weakens the immune system and is completely illiberal, as well as being unscientific.

This article was balderdash when I first read it and is still balderdash now.

As for Fauci, he holds the position of Doctator, a position that should not exist and that is completely illiberal.

"Do the populists have a point about the corruption of the elites? Of course they do. But it is only the defenders of liberalism who have the solution." and this excludes all supporters of lockdown since it is the problem, not the solution, and completely illiberal.

We can say the same thing for many who adhere to "unpopulism". Is the solution just to ignore the rank corruption of the "elite" because they're on "our side"? I find this quite comical. Reject corruption through and through. We see it in all realms of politics and it's disgusting. It's the reason why a person like myself is just checking out. There is clearly no hope in the political class whatsoever, no matter which side of the coin they are on. Alas, those of the "liberal" bent continue to make it harder for a to person like myself to simply check out. Why? Well that should be pretty obvious. Astronomical debt, a serious problem with creating problems that aren't there (climate change panic, anyone?), Etc etc. It's a joke.

Liberal society? It should be pretty evident that we no longer have any. No matter how one tries to cut it.
