Musk, the poster boy for how a talented entrepreneur can make a fortune because of our democratic society and then use his money and power to destroy it. Not a hero, a Nero. Like Miller, he shows Obama was right. 👽 Aliens are real!

Bought Twitter and transformed it to X, a hate factory of misinformation. He led DOGE, an incompetent and unsuccessful transformation of the government, that ruined lives that caused the deaths of thousands of people who needed the support of USAID for food and medical assistance. He helped Trump, an incompetent felon become president. Ironically you are now living in a dystopian, controlling, intolerant society. You have to be a Russian bot to believe what you wrote. I will pray for you.

DOGE hoovered up massive amounts of private citizens’ data in order to further construct the surveillance state. It likely was both competent and successful at achieving that essential goal, unfortunately.

In what was is Musk destroying a democratic society?

He was instrumental in exposing the political hypocrisy of the pandemic after his purchase of Twitter, his technological advancements are unparalleled by ANYONE, his rationale and reasoning seems genuine (he has children he want's to preserve freedom and the planet for) and his attacks are mostly partisan and myopic.

I'll take Musk's world any and every day over a dystopian, controlling, intolerant society that the far Left seems to embrace.

How neither Musk nor the far left?

SV's avatar

You'll need to clarify your question as it isn't clear to me.

Isn't Musk more of a poster boy for mixed economy, government regulations and subsidy? The exact kind of policies that people like Obama advocate.

I don't think EV's and reusable rockets would be a thing in a capitalist economy.

There is one irony here. Brexit was supposed to lead to a stronger British identification but instead both the European and other identifications as the Scottish one became more important for a larger number of UK citizens.

so one can say that Reform UK = Little England as the end goal in practice

I wouldn’t be shocked if this century saw the breakup of the Union. Although I don’t know if I’d say I think it’s *likely*

Wat Tyler's avatar

No it wasn't. Brexit is the result of the devolution swindle and it was 100% effective in halting the further exploitation of that racist swindle by london and its 'celtic' favorites. Little wonder that london and its 'celtic' favorites hate brexit. The top-table has stolen all the privileges and they dont like it when the English mudbloods don't accept it.

'little Englander' is a racist term used by the london political classes in the 19th century when suppressing the rights of the English population. No surprise to hear the same derogatory racism being used today for exactly the same reasons.

The era of tolerating and appeasing this poison is over

Vladan Lausevic's avatar

"Rights of the English population"? What do you mean?

Wat Tyler's avatar

london and its 'celtic' favorites have stolen for themselves their own private nation states with all the privileges and they have stitched up the English population to be their mudbloods; to never have what they have but to be required to remain as mudbloods so the top-table can enjoy the privileges that they have denied to us. Post-devo UK is the old colonial form of governance deployed in the british isles, with london and its 'celtic' favorites in their old role as the privileged top-table and the English population cast as the underclass on whos backs these colonists live.

The era of tolerating and appeasing this swindle are over, but london and its 'celtic' favourites cant understand it. they are snobs and racists who are incapable of respecting their English underclass. So we need to be rid of them and their colonial form of governance

Vladan Lausevic's avatar

Wat, if I understand you correct. You are against "Little Englander" because it is racist but you support Brexit which was supported and promoted by persons and networks with racist opinions and behaviours?

Wat Tyler's avatar

Your focus is apparently Democracy. Read this for example before spouting any more of your poorly-educated opinions: https://blog.bham.ac.uk/lpip/2025/08/27/geographic-inequalities-in-an-era-of-unequal-devolution/

The University of Birmingham is not 'far right' and the inequalities and failures of the UK's democracy are concrete. Maybe as a foreigner, you should keep your opinions out of our society. You could also stop appropriating our language with which you insult us. thanks

Wat Tyler's avatar

'little Englander' is a racist term used by the bourgeoisie to belittle and disparage English people and that is why you use it.

The primary driver of Brexit is the devolution swindle and the inequality that it has created. In light of the completely unacceptable, untenable and racist inequality manifested by devolution, brexit is the correct choice for the English population. However, since london and its 'celtic' favourites are leeching off of that racist inequality, london and its 'celtic' favorites hate Brexit, scapegoat their mudbloods and blank any suggestion that they are the architects of their own demise. The top-table hates it when the mudbloods dont do as they are instructed. london and the 'celts' went around the world exploiting and abusing people like this and now they do it here and they will get the same back here as they did in the other colonies

The suggestion that Brexit is the work of racists is just cut/paste racism by people who need to suppress the voice of the English mudbloods. Textbook racism. Scapegoat the mudbloods and blank any reference to the devolution swindle that enshrines racism into the constitution. Pathetic. You need to educate yourself before you spout more of this poison. an educated person like your good self spouting racist nonsense. tut tut. go to the back of the class

Brexit has achieved the likelihood that Northern Ireland will eventually be united to the Republic; that Scotland will draw closer to independence and the EU. This will leave "Little England" and "England Adjacent" (Wales) allied with them (sort of) but living in their own Nationalist bliss.

Wat Tyler's avatar

The idea that English people benefit from the toxic malice of the 'celtic' nations is the most exceptional hubris. Noone has done more harm to 'britain' since WW2 that irish nationalists and the possibility that the irish might finally be removed from English life after centuries of the most pernicious racism is something to be excited about. Scotland's nationalists should also consider their futures, because our island does not tolerate racism in any form and there is no racism more toxic than the 'celtic' variety

Britain may survive yet and stay British even though you’d call there ‘far-right.’

Peter Smith's avatar

But are they really “remaking” anything? What the author identifies as “the far right” is a political movement that advocates government involvement in every aspect of our lives (which I would call the far left). They're offering exactly what everyone already wants.

The real political crisis we face today is that nearly everyone seems to agree that authoritarianism is the correct political system, with no meaningful alternative being offered. Not even by “liberals.”

Instead, everyone is fighting to the death over laughably irrelevant minutiae of the type of authoritarianism we should have.

Wat Tyler's avatar

The primary act of racism in the british isles is the untenable swindle of Devolution, in which london, scotland, wales, ireland north and ireland south are all on a top-table with their own private wee nation-states with all the wonderful privileges that entails, while the English population is denied any and every privilege and are stitched up to be an anonymous blob of british gammon that exists purely to be exploited and disparaged by the top-table. Essentially, the old colonial model is now deployed in the british isles for the benefit of london and its 'celtic' favourites, just as that old colonial model was deployed around the world for exactly the same reason. 'English nationalism' is an entirely rational response to this racist oppression.

This absurd and and completely unacceptable, racist construct is the death throe of 'the united kingdom of great britain and northern ireland'. A dead nation, that exists purely to service the needs of people external to itself. A yoke that ties the English population to wiping the arse and carrying the bag of any and every foreign taker who thinks they are owed something.

The UK is a dead nation. We need to bury it. Its time that the political classes took their heads out of the sand and faced reality. The south african model didnt work in south africa and it does not work in the british isles. An English nation for English people. Now

> Although he backed a Reform candidate in a Feb. 26 by-election in Gorton and Denton, a district in Greater Manchester, Robinson is actually a member of Advance UK—a hard-right party founded because Reform wasn’t extreme enough, which itself took the shape that it did because the Conservatives weren’t extreme enough.

Where by "extreme" you mean not interested in joining the Torries in running left at breakneck speed.

Harley "Griff" Lofton's avatar

Or not interested in joining Tories in maintaining a rational center right position essential for making a liberal democracy a functioning government. Old Tories understand that social change is inevitable the dialectical conflict with the left is about how that social change is managed. An attempt to block or reverse social change is not an option. Science, technology, market economies, and dynamic capitalism ceaselessly destroying and rebuilding bring about the social change that must be managed.

The far right in America, UK and elsewhere has taken the nihilistic position that the foot stomping on a human face is an inevitable future for mankind. They just want to make sure they are the ones wearing the boots and stomping on the faces of their perceived "others."

Eugine Nier's avatar

> The far right in America, UK and elsewhere has taken the nihilistic position that the foot stomping on a human face is an inevitable future for mankind.

So they're building a surveillance state, locking people up for social media posts, and trying to undermine trial by jury. Oh, sorry that's the mainstream political parties, my mistake.

Historically, England has a history of wars and conflicts among Christians as during the 16th century. Today, there are still political conflcits between Christians who support universal values and those Christians who support authoritarian values.
