Drunky Pete at his best. How did he get the job? No one else was better qualified? We should be worried when there's a Secretary of War. We should want a Secretary of Peace.

The Fourth Crusade, having failed to recapture Jerusalem from the Muslims turned against Orthodox Christians and ended up sacking the Christian capital of Constantinople by Catholic forces.

One trait that seems to define MAGA tho=inking is the use of a "radical Looney Left Marxist" as a stand in for every point of view that is even millimeters to the left of whatever position or policy they espouse. This straw man is rigid and easily knocked over by their debating points that the Righties invariably end up "pwning the Libs". In their own estimation, of course.

Like the "debates" that the late, lamented Charles Kirk enthusiastically waged on his campus tours, when someone wields the supreme authority on what is a fact and what is merely a "theory", it is child's play to undercut a debate opponent.

And if your argument is built a foundation of lies, you can easily admit a few facts here and there to make sophistry seem like sound reasoning.

It sounds to me like Hegseth is suffering from tiny penis syndrome.

What part of war and murder is what Christ taught, if he claims to be "Christian"?

The Crusades, while stating that they were "protecting their faith and homes," invaded other countries and attacked their people (who had to fight to protect their faith and homes). It wasn't as though a Jihadist band of Muslims invaded Europe and attacked the Christians; it was the other way around. The Crusades were simply an excuse to go find someone to fight with, since they couldn't keep fighting each other in Europe, and a way for younger sons to have something to do with themselves, since they couldn't inherit anything.

Finally, none of the members of Trump's cabinet seem to have read the Constitution of the United States. The First Amendment clearly states that "Congress shall not establish a religion or prohibit the practice thereof." The United States is NOT "a Christian country."

So Trump and Hegseth hate Democrats and term the “enemy within”. At least 35% of Americans are Democrats, which is a lot of people. What do they plan to do with us? Kill us, deport us, lock us up? RFK,Jr will help eliminate a lot with his anti-health, but they may be some Republicans!

Thank you for this illuminating post. For reading carefully his books do we don’t have to. And knowing the scriptures in a way Hegseth doesn’t.

Only good news I can see - the generals/ admirals did not give rousing applause to Hegseth’s or Trump’s talks.

Hegseth is some Christian indeed. How many of the seven deadly sins has he allegedly committed?

You mean like today or this whole past week. I guess the answer would still be the same. All of them.
