But the real problem is that we’re not a self-governing people. Even now, there’s no voice in the mainstream advocating for individual rights, rights-protecting government and capitalism. I don't even think we have a single mainstream professional that can correctly use words like "rights" in a sentence.

Most people and political professionals want the state to be involved in every aspect of life and we’re getting exactly the kind of government that everyone wants.

In a rights-protecting government, even if someone like Trump could win office, he wouldn’t be able to do much. The vast machinery of big government simply wouldn’t exist for him to use to impact people’s lives so broadly.

That’s why it’s inconsistent to oppose Trump while continuing to support the same ideas and policies that made his rise possible.

??? Since this comment lacks any concrete examples of what “state involvement” even be, blocking as a libertarian nonsense.

You malcontents just never give up. Our great President deserves any and all reverence that different departments and agencies chose to facilitate. Like he has clearly said that he is not asking for these things to be done, it is the admiration that different people hold for our President. You anti-American Socialist Democrats need to like the young people say: Get a Life…..

Trump is a psychotic asshole and any form of public aggrandizement is appalling.

I would go further and prohibit public things from being named after current political office holders, period. Nancy Pelosi Drive and Dianne Feinstein Elementary School, among many others, set bad precedents (not picking on those particular pols, those are just the examples closest to where I live).

I cannot appreciate this enough.
