Fascinating. My 2022 national survey among Gen X and Boomers revealed that immigrants in these generations were twice as likely to wind up as post grad educated upper middle class citizens. They are not a majority of older immigrants, but immigrants do have show better odds of reaching the top echelons of society...this uncomfortable truth may feed right wing elite resentment - think of reading about Hamdi Ulukaya -founder of Chobani in the news...if you’re a resentful white college grad.
