I didn't bother reading this whole thing because it's comical. Like, you guys actually think Donald Trump wanted to join the riot and grabbed the steering wheel of the secret agents car? All on account of, you got it, HEARSAY.
That entire Cassidy Hutchinson account is a joke and you guys are buying into like it like it's gospel truth.
It's articles like this that explains the rise of populism. Not its leaders.
Sorry you didn’t read to the end—you might have learned something. Jan 6 was the culmination of a months long conspiracy by Trump and individuals in and out of government to stage a coup. Evidence of that plot has been meticulously laid out by witnesses—virtually all Trump appointees and staunch conservative Republicans—who described the effort to intimidate state legislators, create phony slates of electors and stop the counting of certified electoral votes. And, btw, no one has disputed that Trump knew the mob included well armed individuals and that he desperately wanted to accompany them.
"Brass knuckles and spears" -- if this was a movie, it would be a really bad one.
How did we get to this point? Is there ANY redeeming quality to Trump that makes his supporters so fervent? As for what can be done, Trump needs to go to jail.
This is the logic of liberals right now, and the more I read this substack, the more I understand.
"we know that the government has lied to you, the people, time and time again, but you can trust us. Just trust us. We're honest"
Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.
No thank you.

😂 You're right. I'm sorry.
Everything the government says is true.
This is a nice synthesis of the past few weeks. And wonderfully sharp Analysis of the options surrounding Prosecution
Exactly, in a democracy, every resident or citizen is equal when it comes to the rule of law.

They worship him precisely because he has no redeeming qualities.
Sadly quite true. There is nothing that is good about this guy
