It stands to reason that Donald Trump may not have won the GOP nomination in 2016 if they had RCV back then, too. Yes I agree with this. Republicans would have much more credibility with voter integrity if they also championed things like automatic voter registration, independent redistributing, and ranked choice voting.
You can’t win the culture war just through tricks alone, you have to genuinely win hearts and minds, and if so, conservatives should have nothing to fear from being champions of reforms enhancing democracy.

I don't really *want* the GOP to have more palatable candidates, unless they are sumptuous, which is not likely to be the case.
