I grew up close to the Ambassador Bridge, and I love hockey! More seriously, I like a country that manages to get by without a national mythology.

You people have no idea what's going on in Canada and the reason you don't know is because PM Trudeau has made it illegal to share news on social media.

Additionally, the Legacy news in Canada is ALL Government subsidized and so they are beholden to NOT report against the Government. Rather than keep the Government honest, they are protecting the Government.

Both of these things were purposefully done under the pretense of "helping the people" and "protecting the news companies" but what is actually happening is that all of this has added up to a censorship wall around Canada preventing the free exchange of information within the country. Pretty terrifying.

This has allowed the PM to make sweeping changes to the country with little resistance over a VERY short period of time.

The population is protesting loudly but nobody is listening. During the trucker protest in 02/22 we had MILLIONS of people across the country standing on freeways and bridges cheering truckers on across the country. Remember, we only have 35 million people here. We had over 10,000+ people show up for a month long peaceful protest in the capital city of Ottawa.

During this time, we had MAJOR PROTESTS IN EVERY MAJOR CANADIAN CITY FOR MONTHS.

MILLIONS OF PEOPLE.

NONE of it appeared on the news because the Canadian Legacy news blocked it out or twister the facts, but if you search independent news and video footage you'll see it.

What the legacy news did was spin it as Russian influence (no joke), gun violence (there was none) and organized corruption - while the largest corrupt organization is the Government itself.

The Canadian people have had enough and it seems that we are headed for civil war up here just like you are in the US.
