And the nationalist ideology is based on that members of a certain community, as Americans, should only cooperate between themselves and not with "others" as Mexicans, Muslims, migrants. Thereby, populism is about demand for a special loyalty to a certain population or nation, including by rejecting "the others" and thereby preventing people to cooperate a global citizens and free individuals
