Thanks for posting this. Ever since January 6, I had a vague memory of Gore’s speech in mind. But I never bothered to look it up. It is a wonderful reminder of what democracy is - and a very striking contrast with the fake tough-guy.

One thing I am not comfortable with is "God Bless America", how is that compatible with secularism and rationality?
An excellent speech, and one that is definitely worth remembering regardless of the level of politics we work in.
